I grow asparagus – the season usually runs from mid April through June – I sell at the Urbana Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in May and June. One pound bundles for $3.00 per lb. We use a commercial fertilizer in the fall but no pesticides! I also now grow red rhubarb – also $3.00 a bundle for a lb. or slightly larger.
