Cabbage Au Gratin

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
1 T
vegetable oil
6 cups
shedded cabbage
1 large
diced onion
6 T
butter
6 T
flour
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
3 cups
milk
1 1/2 cups
grated cheese
taste taste
bread crumbs
Step by Step Instructions
- Heat oil
- Saute cabbage and onion for 5 minutes
- Melt butter, add flour and seasonings thoroughly
- Stir milk in gradually
- Cook until thick then add grated cheese
- Stir until melted
- Mix cheese sauce with sauce with cabbage.
- Put in baking dish.
- Top with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
