This is not your Grandma's "shoe leather" liver you remember from your childhood! These are sliced thick with beneficial healthy vitamins and minerals: Iron, Vitamin A, and all the B vitamins. These cuts will be tender and delectable with a little bone broth sauce and onions. Add fresh mushrooms and serve with rice or mashed potatoes. Great for those needing to add a little extra iron to their diet without having to take a vitamin supplement! Rinse and soak in milk or buttermilk overnight, pat dry and dredge in seasoned flour. Sprinkle onions with a little sugar and caramelize in butter, salt and pepper. Make a slurry with bone broth, flour, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and rosemary. Cover and cook on low for 20 minutes turning at 10 minutes. Enjoy this flavorful dish, similar to baked steak!
