Pawpaw Ice Cream

Serves: One Quart
Ingredients
2 cups
mashed pawpaws
2
eggs
2/3 cup
sugar
1/2 tsp.
vanilla
2 cups
cream
Step by Step Instructions
- Cut the pawpaws in half and scoop pulp out with a spoon, making sure not to get any skin. Remove the seeds and mash pulp.
- Beat egg and sugar until thick and cream colored.
- Add cream, pawpaws and vanilla. Mix well to blend.
- Use your favorite ice cream maker. We use a Donvier quart model, and it's fun to have everyone take a turn at cranking. Yummy!
