The local foods movement is alive and well in Champaign County! Here are some updates on other projects while we finalize our virtual market:

Local Producers Map:
Our local producers map is ready for publication and you will soon be able to find it on gochampaign.com. Copies will be distributed around the community, in the local telephone book, and other “hangouts”. The guide lists the location and contact information for nearly 50 local producers within our county. The map was a project of the Local Food Council and printed with the help of some local sponsors including the Monument Square District, Champaign Bank, the Community Improvement Corporation, the Chamber of Commerce, the Farm Bureau and others. It is a great start to finding a local source for Champaign County’s finest!

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning little local market of love vendors!

Just a reminder that it’s Tuesday, and it’s time to get all of your market orders in! And, we have a new farm joining the market, this week!

They are delightful, and have provided me with a write up for you to read!

We have lived in Champaign County for 24 years and raised our family here. Our farm is on 5 acres between Mechanicsburg and Urbana. We grow our flowers, vegetables and fruit with organic methods but are not certified as organic.

We grow a variety of produce and cut flowers and will have market bouquets and produce for the 2020 season. I love growing things and hope you will enjoy what we have to offer.

I also have handmade fabric tote bags for sale to carry your market goodies or groceries home in style!

Welcome to the market!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
