If you were around in the 80s, clubbing it, not clubbing it, dancing to that Valentine’s Day beat, this was your song.

I was in college when it was released, and one of our favorite places to hang out was The Family Dog. First floor was a cheap, amazing Mexican restaurant, where you could eat AND drink, for under 5.00. The second floor was the club floor…flashing lights, cheap drinks, wall to wall people, and an always packed dance floor. The tunes were groovy, the drinks were flowing, and if those walls, right outside the bathrooms could talk…well…The third floor was the rock and roll floor. Live bands, floor to ceiling shelves of vinyl. Simply put, the whole place was the best.

It saw all of us have crushes, fall madly in and out of love, get dumped, publicly cry, endure many embarrassing moments, but most of all, it built bonds, that to this day, remain the strongest bonds of friendships, sisterhoods, brotherhoods.

Gosh…this trip down memory lane, over silly song. But, my sorority reunion is getting ready to happy, again, and we will take over our old college town, once again, so maybe I’m just being nostalgic. I have to laugh at those days of hoping for your crush to send you flowers, or acknowledge your existence. Fun times on campus.

Anyway, why not give the market The Look Of Love, this week, and hurry and get those orders in!! 8am is fast approaching!!

Your Manic Monday Reminder!

Yes, go ahead, cue the song, feel the Monday crazy that, for me, is lasting even into the evening.

Not sure what was up with today, but something was in the air…it was just one of those days that every time I turned around, there was one more odd roadblock, one more obstacle, and it all seemed to take forever to accomplish.

Then, other people were all telling me the same thing was happening for them.

So, goodbye manic Monday, and hoping for a Groovy Tuesday. In order to make that happen, I am placing my market order, tonight, because at 8am, tomorrow, we close for the week, and you don’t want to miss out on all of this terrific stuff the market has to offer!

AND…don’t forget…it’s your only week, until spring, to order your florals from Flourish, for a Valentine Day pick up!!!

Love is in the air, market customers, and to make it all come alive, for your Valentine’s/Galentine’s/Celebration of Self Love/however you want to celebrate, we have got the florals for you!!

I am going to copy a note from the girls of Flourish, their market offerings are listed in the flower category, and, you will have market opening, this evening, until the usual market closing time of Tuesday, 8am!

BUT…you will not pick these flowers up at next Thursday’s pick up. You will pick these up, at a special time, Tuesday morning, on February 14th!! Just in time to shine the love wherever you want!!

I love that we are able to build another local bridge…to Hawaii!! I love this little market network! Please email me with any questions about the pick up!!

Just to recap…order as usual, with your market weekly orders. You will still pick up your orders, next Thursday, but will need to swing by the greenhouse, the following Tuesday, to pick up your florals!!

You heard that right, we are kicking off our season starting Tuesday, February 14th! Rebekah makes up 1/2 of our Flourish team and has spent the last two years living in Hawaii, immersing herself in their culture and floral design techniques!

Freshly harvested from Hawaii, Rebekah is shipping over the most beautiful protea over-night to have fresh blooms for your tropical babe.

However, if your Valentine is a bit more classic, we of course have the simple roses!

We will be back with locally grown blooms for the spring into late summer but for now, we celebrate love, and hope you’ll join us! Pre-order your Valentine’s Day blooms for pick-up on Tuesday, 2/14!

And, a song to first remind you that if you ordered, this week, tonight is your pick up!! 4pm-6pm! If you need a pick up for tomorrow, 10am-12pm, or Saturday, 10am-4pm, please let me know!

Also…for the good news…Old Souls IS going to work with us, and allow us to still offer their Spring Mix, to the market!! Of course, we love all of the varieties that we have been so lucky to have, but are so very thankful that we will still have Spring Mix to offer. It may be in limited quantities, but we will see how things progress!! Also, it will no longer be delivered to the market, so your managers are figuring out the pick up time frames, but I am just so happy to announce this, and sending them a huge dose of love to agree to work with us!!
