It’s Sunday, it’s a bit gloom, a bit cold, and the perfect time to curl up with your coffee, tea, water, mimosa, and spend a bit of time getting your weekly orders in.

Once you accomplish this task on Sunday, you are all set. Then, you just have to find your way to the YMCA, on Thursday, to grab your orders, and be on your way…on to your own sweet melody…

2020…how futuristic did this sound back, in say, 1980? How amazing that we just welcomed in a new decade, with such an amazing clean slate to pave the way!

Also, we are entering into year 9 for this market! Going strong, and so happy for your support!

Just a quick note about ordering from the market, and that it will be the last market of 2019. When we reopen in 2020, we will be moving into our ninth year. Can you believe it?

And, to help with any additional gift buying…our market has so much to offer via all vendors.

This Thursday, we also have Champaign Berry who will be joining us with a gift table set up with their large assortment of jams, sauces and jellies…

I’ve been thinking, a lot, about all the places I have been lucky enough to live, in my life, especially at holiday time.

This song always throws me back to my California years, traipsing around Venice Beach (my first apartment, out of college) and Westwood, my second, and more grown up apartment. You could ramble in and out of the shops, and eateries, and bars, during December, and this song seemed to always be playing, harkening my thoughts back to family, friends, and traditions.

Just like this market, just like the family that we all have become. We hope that your holiday roads take you to amazing places, and we hope to send you off, in this final week of the market, for 2019, with good cheer, and good food.

This will be our final market of the year, the decade! We are taking the two holiday weeks off, and will reopen for ordering, Thursday, Jan 2, 2020…

A Little Holiday Haze...

Are you feeling the holiday goodness, this year? I know that it seems like it is coming, fast and furious, but I find myself quite taken by all of the lights, the music, the sounds, the festive warmth to the season. I love this time of year…but for some reason, joyous feelings, and new anticipations seem to be calling me, with nothing but excitement in the days to come.

I feel that I am taking more time in calmness, in making time for my people, my friends, and spreading the love, whenever I can.

This market, also my source of love sharing, is also anticipating the holiday by hoping that we can provide you with all that you need, want, desire. We hope that our market is always a sense of warmth, and gathering, during the year.

It’s what I always strive for, it’s what I always hope you take away from us. I hope that with each order, we also have tucked a bit of love, to take you on your travels, each week, as you leave us…

To mark “Small Business Saturday” today, we want to let our fellow market members know about our sale on our Valley View Woodlands maple syrup. To mark the holiday season, we’re putting our gift-quality maple syrup on sale for the next 10 days. As our members know we bottle our syrup in fancy glass bottles to showcase the beauty of this delicious treat from our woods. Our prices are already well below what you would find online for maple syrup gifts, and now we are dropping the price even further through December 11.
