Organic Olive oil,
Organic Coconut oil,
Organic Palm oil,
Distilled water,
Sodium Hydroxide,
Lemongrass essential oil.
We are committed to using good quality and safe ingredients, which is why we only use essential oils for scents. The base oils are food grade organic, so nothing nasty is going into our soap!
The process of saponification consumes the lye, converting the oils into soap. There is no lye left in the final product. Sometimes a layer of soda ash (sodium carbonate aka washing soda) forms as the bars cure. This is a thin layer of white which will wash off with first use. It is not harmful and is completely normal. Some feel it adds to the rustic charm!
It lathers beautifully! Great to use for shaving too! Cut a bar in half and use the smaller size for hand bars at your sinks.
Lemongrass is a lovely spring/summery smell! One of the favorites!
